Monkeys cause massive fire at abandoned psychiatric hospital, Poughkeepsie New York

Poughkeepsie, New York has seen its fair share of controversy. From the Green Monster to the Underwater Skeleton, but no one was expecting two monkeys with a plan for arson. On the early morning on Tuesday, June 4th, a dangerous level of heat was felt throughout the city, my shoes melted on the sidewalk. Unrelated note, I found 5 dollars in my pocket.
A fire was noticed at the abandoned insane asylum. As firefighters arrived on scene, as well as spectators and independent news coverage, two monkeys were swinging away from the inferno. One holding lighter fluid, the other with matches. The puzzle pieces fit, but the question is: why? Unrelated note, I found 82 cents in my other pocket. What are the chances?
What happened to Jake and Mike from “The Monkey Business Podcast”?

During 2021, after the COVID-19 pandemic, two best friends, Jake Strauss & Mike Lujan launched their first episode of their now infamous podcast “The Monkey Business Podcast”. Only one episode was released to the public. The reason why will haunt you.
The first episode is genuinely one of the best pieces of audio media I have ever heard. These two friends, with history and experience driven into their lives, go into the most unimaginable topic that has ever been thought. Only lasting 5 minutes, Jake and Mike go into a ranking system of famous monkeys.
Such honesty could never been spoken again, as they talk about monkeys like “Bubbles”, “Travis”, “Crystal” and even “Harambe”. Jake even makes a funny joke right off the bat - calling himself by a different name and Mike has to correct him. This is truthful and personal conversations that nobody in the podcast realm could ever match.
But their banter quickly comes to an immediate halt when they start hearing screaming from outside their Podcast Studio. A savage hoard of monkeys tear down their door and attack Jake and Mike. The episode ends with their screams of horror and desperation.
Jake Strauss and Mike Lujan did in fact survive the attack, but the question is: where are they now? And what are they up to?
Is the 5 dollar bill on it’s way out?

You may ask yourself, how is it my whole identity? You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here? It’s because I’m dope as all hell and you guys suck! I got 5 in my name, I got 5 on the table, I got 5 on it!! You guys don’t know anything about 5. 5 on 5. 10 on 10. Enough.
I love the damn bill. It’s the only physical thing with Abe on it. First the Penny, now the bill. Speaking of Penny, did you see her cameo in that new Big Bang Theory spin off. And Raj, too. Knock, knock, knock. Penny.
Enough. I need the bill. Enough. I got the bill. Enough. I am the bill. One more. I am the 5, you are the 4. You die, I live. I continue forever with my 5 dollar bill.

Police arrest suspect in missing adult case.

POUGHKEEPSIE - NY, Earlier this morning, 10 AM EST, police apprehended local resident Henry Fredricks in suspicion of the disappearance of Braeden Hall, on the night of August 14th 2026. Fredricks’s truck was seen following Braeden the night of his disappearance. And after searching the vehicle, officers found Braeden Hall’s belongings.
Multiple lottery tickets with Braeden’s fingerprints were found in the vehicle. Braeden and a friend were seen with these very same tickets the night of the 14th, on security camera footage from local gas stations. Security camera footage was also used to find the suspect, as he was seen following Braeden and his friend to multiple locations.
Officer Beck, with the Poughkeepsie Police Department, has this to say about the suspect in custody.

Jake and Mike, “The Monkey Business Podcast”, SEEN for the first time in months.

After the grizzly monkey attack back in 2021, Mike Lujan and Jake Strauss have been out of the public eye. But with rumors speculating that their now infamous “The Monkey Business Podcast” is making a return, along with a new show titled “The Monkey Business Show”, are the two private Podcasters ready to step back into the modern world?
Both Jake Strauss and Mike Lujan have rarely been photographed yet alone seen in public, ever since monkeys attacked them. But with these new images of both of the Podcasters, we can see they have bandages covering their faces.
Multiple reports suggest they both got facial reconstructive surgery to undo the damage caused by the primates. But given today’s climate and the return of the Podcast, who are the real primates here? The monkeys or the monkey business?
I guess we will have to wait and see if they are really making a comeback. Unrelated note, I found 20 bucks in my wallet.
